As part of the media team you will be a part of a team that will:

• Photo & video local events
• Interview & report on local surf/skate activities and personalities
• Update the IWS blog
• Be an active part in the local surf & skate culture & news
• Writing Press Releases

• Students may receive time towards your community service hours
• Possibility for store credit or pay depending on the asssignment
• Work experience for your resume
• Be a part of a team that loves surf, skate, & our community

1. Is there an age limit for this group?
   No. The group is primarily made up of middle school, high school, and college age members; however, older members (out of school) are welcome to join. Our younger crew will get the opportunity to learn from those already in the field.
2. Do I have to already have experience with journalism, photo, video, etc?
   No. The goal of the group is to learn from each other and grow in our talents.
3. Do I have to have my own equipment?
   No. Sharing means caring. IWS has some equipment and team members share with each other in equipment and learning.
4. How often does the team meet?
