How does it work? |
|
Our group surf clinics are designed for people that want a smaller group session than our free lesson program allows. Also, space permitting, each click student will ride their own board, versus sharing. Registration is encouraged to guarantee the spot. If the surf is up, we'll teach surf. Otherwise, we'll teach stand up paddle. Register online and pay online or pay at the store. Head over to the shop (1985 NE 2nd St., Deerfield Beach) at the specified session time on Saturday and bring your own shorts, sun block, and a towel. You'll completed waiver (only needed once) and receive a wrist band. You’ll grab a board and walk to the Deerfield Beach Pier alongside the instructors. At the beach – IWS staffers like 20-year vet Kali “Da Big Kahuna” Montero and surfboard shaper Mike Pechonis – who’ll then run down the basics like safety, paddling, and that vicious pop-up. After that, the instructors will take you into the water and the fun begins. |
