Event Title:    Island Water Sports Midnight Madness presented by the Island Partnership

Why: Special event highlighting Island Water Sports largest sale of the year with interactive activities including concert with local and national acts, pro skater demonstrations, live art murals, local street entertainers, and community partners intended to promote the local business development.

Where: 1985 NE 2nd Street-Island Water Sports
Event located on the S-Curve of A1A on Deerfield Beach

When: Friday, October 15, 2010

Time: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Event Coordinator: Island Water Sports and The Island Partnership

Sponsors: Island Water Sports, Island Partnership, City of Deerfield Beach, Volcom, Vans, Quicksilver, Surfers for Autism,Currently reviewing proposals from: An energy drink company, radio station, magazine, and other local businesses.

Estimated attendance: 6,000 people

Target Audience: 11 years old to 20 years old

The target audience for the Midnight Madness event focuses on the consumer who would purchase apparel and products associated with surfing and skateboarding enthusiasts. Other activities later in the evening are aimed at the parents of these consumers to enjoy and support the economic initiative.
